Al Futtaim offers a job opportunity in Qatar to work as a government relations administrator.

Eligibility:

You must have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in government relations and it's preferred to be Arabic speaker. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well with a diverse team.
  • Due to current travel and visa restrictions, the company is considering only locally available candidates.
  • Computer literacy. 

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of:

  1. Establish and maintain productive working relationships with key and operational government offices which includes Ministry of Interior, Municipality, Ministry of Economy & Commerce, Ministry of Business and Trade, Consumer Protection Department, Customs, Airport Authorities, and other Ministries and agencies, etc. in order to assist with the efficient processing and approval of requests and formalities.
  2. Process government transactions throughout the e-government portals and systems and applications and organize visits to government agencies in an efficient and timely manner.
  3. Ensure the timely and efficient processing of all relevant government and immigration related processes.
  4. Secure all the required transactions for the governments licences for the business. 
  5. Process immigration requirements in the most effective and efficient manner to expedite recruitment of resources to expedite on boarding of new employees.
  6. Keep human resources and administration updated with issues, risks, and status of government and immigration processes and recommend solutions.
  7. Ensure that immigration procedures are completed in minimal time (resident permits, drivers licenses, visas, CID procedures, etc.).
  8. Update and process staff information pertaining to immigration/residency accurately and on time.
  9. Any other related duties assigned by the LM.
