Brunel University London calls application for Brunel International African Poetry Prize. The Prize works closely with the African Poetry Book Fund (APBF) and since its inception, most of the poets who have been nominated and/or won this award have published chapbooks with the African Poetry Book Fund series of New Generation Chapbook Box Sets. The poetry competition is aimed at the development, celebration and promotion of poetry from Africa.


The Brunel International African Poetry Prize is a major annual poetry competition with a prize of £3000.

Brunel University London is a public research university located in the Uxbridge area of London, England. The university is often famous as a British plate glass university. Brunel has three colleges and three major research institutes, a structure adopted in August 2014 which also changed the universitys name to Brunel University London. Brunel has three constituent Academic Colleges: College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences, College of Business, Arts and Social Sciences and College of Health and Life Sciences. It is also a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, the European University Association, and Universities UK.
