This scholarship is awarded annually to a student who has finished the Bachelor of Arts degree and who is starting an honours degree in French. It is awarded on the basis of academic merit.
This scholarship was established in 1991 by a gift from Mrs Mabel Barnett, nee Pingel, who graduated from the University in 1935.
This scholarship is not available by application. It is awarded by the School of Languages and Cultures.
