Students With A Narrative (SWAN) is offering SWAN Film Festival which is an annual free-to-enter film competition for students studying creative arts across High School Years 11 and 12, training colleges (Certificates, Diplomas, and Advanced Diplomas), and Universities (Bachelor'slevel).

Competition Rules:

Short Film Length
All films are required to be 8-10 minutes
All animations are required to be 2-3 minutes
All entries must be original work that hasn't previously been screened or posted online.

This year, there are seven categories to be won:

Best Film: High School $100
Best Film: Higher Education $100
Best Animation: High School $100
Best Animation: Higher Education $100
Best Use of Theme $500
Viewers' Choice $500
Best Overall $500

Important Dates:

Submissions open: Monday, 31 August
Submissions close: Thursday, 12 November
Results announced: Sunday, 06 December
Screening: Saturday, 12 December
