Babson College is offering The Weissman Scholarship program which provide four-year, full-tuition undergraduate scholarships plus financial support for scholars to develop their unique talents and pursue their personal passions. At the core of this full-tuition scholarship program are opportunities for scholars to choose from or create their own diverse and personalized experiences and access seed money to make these plans a reality.

Eligibility Criteria:

Only first-year applicants are eligible for the scholarship.
For scholarship renewal, students are required to earn a 3.3 cumulative GPA which is assessed at the end of each semester, fulfill all program requirements, and demonstrate a commitment to assuming leadership roles at Babson and beyond.

Selection Criteria:

Selection for the Weissman Scholarship is based on the following criteria:

Academic excellence and intellectual passion
Great distinction in leadership activities
Strength of vision for how your goals can be fulfilled at Babson with the support of the Weissman Scholarship Program

Required Documents:

Weissman Scholars are provided with additional resources to achieve their greatest educational, philanthropic, and/or global aspirations. Given the advantages of the Weissman Scholarship Experience: intellectual inquiry, mentoring and networking, extraordinary internships, entrepreneurial spirit, global citizenship, and leadership and teamwork—please tell us about a passion of yours and how you would develop it through the Weissman program.

You are required to submit your answer in either written (650 word maximum) OR video format (2 minute maximum). Be as creative as you’d like.
If you choose to submit a written essay, please upload it as either a PDF or Microsoft Word document below.
If you choose to submit a video, please do so by pasting the link to your video on a video hosting site (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) in the space provided.
They ask that you submit an essay OR a video, not both.
