To help students financially, the University of Saskatchewan is proud to announce its International Baccalaureate (IB) Excellence Awards for the academic session 2021/2022.

The main purpose of this bursary is to provide financial assistance for those brilliant candidates who will commence in the undergraduate program at the university. Recipients are eligible to receive the International Baccalaureate Excellence Awards in addition to a Guaranteed Entrance Scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Undergraduate degree in all the subjects offered by the university.
  •  Admissible Criteria: Applicant must meet the following criteria:
  • International students (non-Canadian citizens paying differential tuition) completing a full IB diploma entering any direct-entry college at the U of S will be considered for an IB Excellence Award.
  • Recipients are eligible to receive the International Baccalaureate Excellence Awards in addition to a Guaranteed Entrance Scholarship.

Offered Benefits

The University of Saskatchewan will provide an award amount of $20,000 to all selected students.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: By applying online for undergraduate admission, students will be eligible for consideration. Students must also submit the necessary supporting documents such as:
  • Academic transcript
  • Copy of passport
  • Admission Requirements: For taking admission, candidates must check all the entry requirements of the university.
  • English Language Requirements: If English is not your first language, then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.
