Princeton University announces that the 7th Early-Career Behavioral Economics Conference (ECBE) will take place at its Department of Economics on the 3-4 June 2021 in the USA. The conference will be sponsored by the Russell Sage Foundation. The Russell Sage Foundation is the principal American foundation devoted exclusively to research in the social sciences and was an early force in the development of behavioral economics.

Conference Objective:-

  • The goal of this conference is to provide a platform for researchers who are early- or mid-career to present their research and receive feedback on their work.
  • The conference seeks to promote the development of a community of behavioral economics researchers.

Eligibility:-

There is no strict eligibility rule to apply. Any early- or mid-career behavioral economist is invited to apply. This includes graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and assistant or associate professors.

Benefits:-

  • There is no conference fee. Conference meals will be covered for invited participants. In cases where financial assistance is not available from a researcher’s university, hotel and economy class travel expenses will be reimbursed (up to $1200 for travel from outside North America and up to $350 for travel from North America except from the New York/New Jersey metro area).

  • Please note that participants are not eligible for financial assistance from the RSF if:

    • They received financial assistance from RSF for participating in the 2015, 2017 or 2019 ECBE.

    • They received their PhD in 2015 or earlier (including 2015).
