Beiersdorf in Dubai, UAE is looking for a Brand Manager to join its marketing team. The Brand Manager is responsible for the achievement of revenue, market shares, and profits for both categories across MENA. He/she will steer the brand portfolio, manage launches and relaunches, develop marketing plans that align with the business plan, control marketing budgets, liaise with Sales/S&CM teams to land strong customer marketing plans, and ensure ongoing product supply for full assortment while working closely with the Marketing Manager to meet/exceed brand targets.

Main Responsibilities:

Business Development and Market Understanding

  • Achieve sales, profit, and market share objectives in line with the MU Annual Marketing Plan through monthly performance analysis, leading to recommendations for appropriate corrective actions.

Marketing Budget Control

  • Control marketing investment in line with the agreed Marketing Plan, updated as necessary during the financial year.

Maximization of Return On Investment

  • Review and consistently evaluate alternative marketing investments opportunities in order to maximize return on investment against agreed brand objectives.

Innovations & Renovations

  • Evaluate, scope, and validate concept to product development of exciting marketing mixes so as to bring in relevant innovations and renovations that excite and engage consumers.

International Exchange

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the local consumer needs and competitive context for your category.
  • Lead exchange of insights/recommendations with global and regional Offices so as to facilitate the definition of regional marketing and communication strategy and local competitive advantage.

Internal Marketing Plan

  • Lead the annual Marketing Plan, under the supervision of the Marketing Manager within the long term Business Plan, liaise with Global / Regional offices to identify appropriate product innovations, local supply chain to ensure that internal processes are properly managed and Commercial Units (CUs) are fully briefed and resourced to deliver appropriate Customer Marketing Plan.

Marketing & Communications Strategy

  • Lead, in coordination with Marketing Manager, with international communications agencies to ensure the best-in-class adaptation/creation of marketing and communication campaigns suited to the different local markets. Apply and further build digital capabilities to leverage consumer journeys and deliver brand KPIs.

Achievement of Customer Marketing Plan

  • Coordinate MENA brand activities of Shopper & Customer Marketing in order to achieve the agreed Customer Marketing Plan.

Assure Product Supply

  • Coordinate with supply chain function to ensure the continuous supply of product to the market place.
