The Study IT in Estonia program is inviting students, researchers, scholars, academia to be part of its 2020 Cyber Security Winter School. This year the Winter School will focus on cybersecurity in the transportation sector, especially on the automotive sector. Incidents and attacks in this sector can be widespread, affect large numbers of people, and have serious consequences. As a result of technological developments, the sector is moving towards digitalization and automation - self-driving cars, autonomous ships, drones, etc. Therefore, raising awareness and increasing cooperation and mutual understanding between transportation and cybersecurity experts are particularly important.
The program will include:
The event will be held online. All necessary details will be sent to the participants before the event.
Master and Ph.D. students, researchers, domain experts.
The course will include talks, OSINT and tabletop exercises, online CTF competition, working in small groups of participants.
FREE for students, researchers, scholars, academia.
200 EUR (excl. VAT) for all others.
The Study IT in Estonia Programme is a product of partnership. One that is funded by the Estonian state, managed by the Estonian IT Foundation for Education (HITSA), and generously supported by Skype. Its activities are rooted in the belief that a rising tide lifts all boats.
