SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES: conducting scientific research in the field of chemistry and biotechnology using spectrophotometric techniques: UV/VIS, FT-IR, FT-Raman and chromatographic techniques: HPLC; presentation of scientific results in the form of articles in journals from the JCR list; raising funds for research; conducting classes in the field of general, physical and organic chemistry in Polish and English;

Eligibility criteria

  • diploma of M.Sc. obtained in the field of biotechnology or chemistry
  • fluent in English or German written and spoken; fluent in Polish, written and spoken
  • predisposition to research work
  • scientific achievements in the form of articles, participation in national or international conferences
  • experience in operating spectrophotometers: UV/VIS, FT-IR, FT-Raman

  • Selection process

    Candidates to take part in the competition should submit the following documents:

  • an application addressed to the Rector of Białystok University of Technology for employment as an assistant professor;
  • employment application questionnaire and a declaration regarding the protection of personal data (template available for download at www.bip.pb.edu.pl/ , in the tabs: Work at the Białystok University of Technology ► Database of forms and documents;
  • documents confirming obtaining the professional title of master's degree and doctoral degree in the discipline of biomedical engineering;
  • self-presentation with a list of publications;
  • declaration of compliance with the requirements specified in Art. 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668);
  • a document confirming the knowledge of a modern foreign language and the Polish language at a level that allows conducting classes with students;
  • information on meeting the conditions specified in § 66 section 4 of the Statute of the Białystok University of Technology;
  • other documents, materials or information that may be relevant to the competition.
