*The Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine* (FSTM) contributes multidisciplinary expertise in the fields of *Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences and Medicine*. Through its dual mission of teaching and research, the FSTM seeks to generate and disseminate knowledge and train new generations of responsible citizens, in order to better understand, explain and advance society and environment we live in.

The Department of Engineering integrates teaching and research in mechanical, electrical and civil engineering. Many research projects are carried out with industrial, governmental and international cooperation partners. The Electrical Engineering is committed to teaching and its research is focused, but not limited to power generation from renewable energies, automatic control and e-mobility. There is now an immediate opening for postdoctoral researcher.

*Your Role*
The successful candidate is expected to perform the following tasks:

* Contribution in the electrical engineering teaching programs
* Contribution to research in electrical engineering

*Your Profile*

* A PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields
* Experience with third-party funded research and its management is an asset
* Highly committed, excellent team-worker and strong critical thinking skills
* good communication skills in multilingual Luxembourgish environment
