Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in mathematics at University Paris-Saclay (Orsay) funded by the ERC Synergy grant HyperK. The subject of this ERC project is algebraic geometry, in particular hyperkähler manifolds: categories, cycles, and cohomology. Website: https://www.erc-hyperk.org/
This ERC project is based at 4 institutions: Sorbonne University (PI: Claire Voisin), University of Paris (PI: Olivier Debarre), University Paris-Saclay (PI: Emanuele Macrì), and University of Bonn (PI: Daniel Huybrechts). There are similar positions at Sorbonne University, University of Paris and University of Bonn.
The postdoctoral researcher will be part of Laboratoire de Mathématiques de Orsay and will have access to funding for travel and visitors. This is a research position; no teaching is required. French or German language skills are not required.
The position is scheduled to start September 1st, 2021 but the starting date is flexible.
The candidate must have completed his PhD by August 31, 2021 or before the starting date.
