The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide assistance to students studying a Diploma at UQ Skills, who, because of their financial circumstances, might otherwise be unable to undertake full-time study.
An applicant is eligible for the Scholarship if the applicant –
(a) applies for the Scholarship by the closing date for applications; and
(b) is studying full-time at the UQ Gatton Campus; and
(c) is currently enrolled full-time in the Approved Program.
Please complete and submit your online application form by 28th February 2021 at 11.59 PM AEST. Please ensure you've read the prompts in the application form and attach all relevant supporting documents before submitting your application. No late or incomplete scholarship applications will be considered.
All submissions will be kept confidential and only used for the purposes of assessing the scholarship.
The Scholarship is awarded at the discretion of the Associate Dean, on the recommendation of the Director, to the applicant or applicants showing greatest need or merit based on:
(a) financial need;
(b) past academic achievement;
(c) any other matter that the Associate Dean considers to be relevant to the applicant’s success in their studies.
Scholarship value : The value of each Scholarship will be a minimum of $2,000, but will be limited to the annual income from the fund
