We invite applications to join the department Adipocyte Development and Nutrition (PI: Tim J. Schulz, PhD) for

starting as soon as possible.

Project description

This interdisciplinary project addresses the physiological regulation of adipocytes and the mechanisms of their formation. In close collaboration with colleagues at the German Center for Diabetes Research (DZD), the successful candidate will work with an interdisciplinary team to explore the genome-wide regulation of stem cells. In close collaboration with the experimental scientists of the department, integrated transcriptomic and epigenomic analyses will be conducted on the single cell level of defined stem cell populations. Skills and Requirements

The position is available for 3 years. Salaries are paid according to the German federal tariff agreements (remuneration group E 13 TV-L [65%]).
