Team Physiopathology of ocular diseases: therapeutic Innovations
The Cordeliers campus is a multidisciplinary research center located at the center of Saint-Germain in the heart of Paris- It belongs to Université de Paris, Inserm and Sorbonne University.
Subject: The project aims at identifying biomarkers of steroid deregulation in the pathogenesis of Age-Related macular degeneration.
We will use retinal cells differentiated from pluripotent stem cells, transgenic rats and various cellular and animal models; We will also use biologic samples from patients with AMD and controls as well as new imaging microscope in vivo and ex vivo.
The candidate should have strong motivation and be willing to contribute to the development of models. Animal manipulation and is possible an experience in ocular phenotyping of animals would be appreciated. Molecular and cellular biology- Elisa development-bio informatics. Experience in immunology, neurosciences would be appreciated as well.
The position is for at least two years.
