OFFER DESCRIPTION

Composite materials based on layered hydrosilicates and cationic polymers

Optimization of the preparation of composite materials based on layered aluminosilicates with variable chemical compositions that are suitable as carriers for various types of polycations and possess interesting features e.g. antibacterial properties. The work will focus on a detailed study of the interactions between inorganic-organic components and the influence of individual components on the extent of changes in the properties of composite materials

Eligibility criteria

Eligible scientific fields - obtained master degree or equivalent in the time of entrance examination

Eligible proposal - complete submission of an electronic registration form for doctoral studies via academic information system of corresponding university


Selection process

Entrance examination (personal or online interview) in June 2021


Additional comments

If accepted for PhD study student must go through:

- additional exams depending on the study field (it must be completed within 18 months from beginning of the study; at least three exams)

- dissertation theses (review of literature about the topic of the PhD, including results achieved for 18 months)

- dissertation exam in front of the commission with presentation about studied topic

- each year student will be evaluated based on credits achieved during school year and only after passing evaluation student will be allowed to start another year.

Essential part is working on experiments given, allowed and discussed by supervisor.
