Postdoctoral Scientist in Atmospheric Chemistry Modelling
(f/m/div – W084)
to support research activities of the AQ-Watch project in the Environmental Modelling Group of the Institute. The AQ-Watch project is a project sponsored and funded by the European Commission. Its objective is to use advanced atmospheric models together space and in situ observations and develop innovative products and services with the purpose of improving air quality forecasts and source attribution. The project is implemented by an international team with participants from different European countries, USA, Chile and China.
The main objective for this position is to develop and apply regional atmospheric models in different regions of the world and facilitate the integration of different modeling activities within the project.
