The College of Management of Technology (CDM) at EPFL invites applications for a faculty position in Technology & Policy, either at the untenured level (as Tenure Track Assistant Professor) or at the tenured level (as Associate or Full Professor), with an expected start date of January 1, 2022.

We are searching for applicants who are committed to excellence in research, teaching and outreach. Successful candidates work at the intersection of technology, economics, and policy, with a strong research agenda that addresses questions of public interest such as the environment, energy, health, innovation and digitalization. They have the ability to leverage EPFL’s strength in science and engineering to inspire and lead public discourse on policy topics of national and international importance.

A doctorate will be required at the starting date. The candidate is expected to develop an independent and competitive research program in a multidisciplinary environment, supervise own PhD students and engage with researchers in related fields across the EPFL campus. Ideally, s/he has an affinity to Switzerland, with a strong desire and ability to engage with top decision makers in industry, NGOs and public policy.
