Gustave Roussy, Europe's leading cancer research center, is recruiting.
The UMR-1015 of Gustave Roussy directed by Pr. Laurence ZITVOGEL is interested in the immunology of cancer and the mechanisms of action of immunotherapies.
The U1015 INSERM in close cooperation with the Department of Oncology Medicine (DMO) launched the epidemiological and clinical study ONCOVID during the health crisis to improve the management of advanced cancer patients in our institute infected or not by SARS-CoV-2. This clinical program consisted of the inclusion of 470 patients and the constitution of a biobank of approximately 8000 specimens allowing the investigation of the pathophysiological disorders associated with the infection and compromising the response of patients to their anticancer treatment. In May 2020, we launched our research program, consisting of high dimensional immunological analysis called "ONCOVID I" (Spectral flow cytometry, MSD ELISA) and functional analysis (in vitro antigen specific innate and acquired immunity tests) called ONCOVID II, of all included COVID-19+ or COVID-19-negative patients (controls). In addition, the IHU Méditerranée Infections sent us samples from 100 non-cancerous patients to be treated at the same time (PROTECT-CoV study). In this context, we have established collaboration with an industrial company in order to transform the current assay into a quasi-automated assay, without changing the sensitivity or the specificity of the test, for a potential large-scale use of the signature assay. In this context, we are looking for a post-doctoral fellow and/or a pharmacist M/F
In the context of the ONCOVID I and II program, as Project Manager, your missions will include the coordination of the implementation and smooth running of the study:
