Description

The Postgraduate Coursework Master’s Scholarship was established to encourage and support domestic postgraduate coursework students of the Business School by making a contribution towards tuition costs.

The School may award up to four scholarships for domestic students enrolled in an Approved program in accordance with the University’s fee policy. Scholarships are limited and awarded on a competitive basis. The scholarship selection committee considers the applicant's academic merit, paid/volunteer work experience, community involvement and personal statement in their deliberations.

Eligibility

An applicant is eligible to apply for the Scholarship, if the applicant –
(a)    submits an application to the Director of Education, by the closing date for applications;
(b)    intends to commence or commenced in an Approved Program during 2021 academic year;
(c)    is a domestic student in accordance with the University’s Student Fees Policy;
(d)    provides a personal statement in video format of no more than five minutes answering the following:
        (i)  motivations for choosing to study a Master’s degree in Business and your career aspirations
        (ii)  how you overcame a professional or personal obstacle
        (iii)  what you have done to make your work environment or community a better place
        (iv)  any additional information you wish the Scholarship panel to take into consideration (e.g. caring responsibilities; financial hardship; volunteering or other similar non-paid work experiences; start-up roles; etc.);
(e)    provides a CV and two written references (personal or professional).

 

Scholarship value : The value of the Scholarship will be $5000 and will be payable as one-off Scholarship towards the cost of tuition fees of the Approved Program.
