Description

This scholarship was established in 1963 by a gift of $4000 from Miss J.A. McLeod, Mrs E.M. Stitt, and Miss G.E. McLeod. It is in memoriam of their brother Daniel Walker McLeod, grazier, of Glen Alvon, Rosewood who died on 7 October 1962.

The purpose of the bursary is to support students undertaking studies in the field of veterinary science.

Eligibility

An applicant is eligible for the award of the bursary if the applicant:

  • applies for the bursary by the closing date for applications, and
  • is a student enrolled in one of the following programs in the field of veterinary science:
    1. BSc(Hons) – Gatton, Animal & Veterinary Bioscience (managed by the School of Veterinary Science)
    2. BVetTech(Hons)
    3. A Masters program in Veterinary Science, or
    4. A Doctor of Philosophy in Veterinary Science
    5. A Doctor of Veterinary Clinical Science.
