Dedicated to making studies in the USA affordable for all students, Mount Mercy University is very pleased to announce its Athletic Scholarships for the academic year 2022-2023.

Incoming freshman and transfer students can take this application towards their overall cost of education of an undergraduate study at Mt. Mercy. Eligible students are those that participate in NAIA events. The award is undecided but will be renewable for up to 4 years.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Foreign national students can apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Undergraduate study programmes can be applied for.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must compete in NAIA athletic events.
  • The applicants must be entering a full-time programme.

Offered Benefits

The selected athlete students will be given this scholarship, the award of which will be decided by the concerned coach, for up to 4 years.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: Students are required to submit an online application All international applicants qualify to be considered.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • High school transcripts
  • Personal statement
  • Certificate of funding sources
  • Scanned copy of passport
  • Admission Requirements: Students must have attained a CGPA of 2.50 – 2.75 and an ACT score of 20.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • TOEFL IBT – 79
  • TOEFL CBT – 213
  • TOEFL PBT – 550
  • IELTS – 6.0
  • STEP – Eiken Grade 1
  • PTE – 53
  • Duolingo – 50
