Eligibility:

You’re eligible if you:

  • are of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent, identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, and are accepted as such by your community
  • are a domestic student
  • are enrolled or intend to enroll in a postgraduate coursework program in Business School
  • do not hold another Scholarship that the Head considers to be similar
  • provide a personal statement in video format of no more than five minutes answering the following:
    • motivations for choosing to study a Master’s degree at Business School and your career aspirations
    • how you overcame a professional or personal obstacle
    • what you have done to make your community or work environment a better place
    • any additional information you wish the Scholarship panel to take into consideration (e.g. caring responsibilities, financial hardship, volunteering or other similar non-paid work experiences start-up roles etc.)
  • provides a CV and two written references (personal or professional).

Selection criteria:

We’ll consider:

  • evidence of academic merit
  • paid and/or volunteer work experience
  • community involvement
  • personal statement responses.

About this scholarship:

The purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage and support indigenous domestic postgraduate coursework students of the Business School by making a contribution towards living costs.
