The candidate will do research, publish original results, and present them in national and international conferences and workshops. Participation in the local activity of the laboratory and interaction with the Parisian and french community in statistical physics is also expected.

The candidate will work in statistical physics with applications in quantum computation
The candidat sélectionné will work at the Laboratoire de Physique Théorique et Hautes Énergies (LPTHE), Sorbonne Université in the center of Paris (France). The position is supported by the ANR-19-CE30-0014 - CP-Insulators project. The contrat should start at the fall of 2022 and for two years.

The Laboratoire de Physique Théorique et Hautes Énergies (LPTHE) in Paris has
a strong researcher team working in statistical physics and condensed matter.
It has 9 permanent members, one post-doc, and 5 doctoral students.
The team activities are centered around conformal field theory and applications for out of equilibrium phenomena, superconducting qubits, transport in hybrid systems, and electronic systems in low dimensions.

de l'équipe comprennent les théories conformes, la physique hors équilibre, les q-bits supraconducteurs, les systèmes électronique en basse dimension.
