University of Sussex is offering Draper Scholarships (2022) for Masters. There are three scholarships of £3,000 available to applicants applying to study a Masters course in the Department of Law, commencing in September 2022. Applicants will be assessed on their experience, achievement and ambition.

Professor Colonel Gerald Draper joined Sussex in the post of Reader in 1967 and during his 13 years at Sussex, Draper was instrumental in the setting up of what is now the Sussex Law School. He remains to this date a highly influential and frequently quoted figure in the legal world and is deemed by many as the founder of the International Humanitarian Law and Criminal Law as we understand them today.
