Institution: National Housing Endowment
Purpose: To aid students who are preparing for careers in residential construction management.
Eligibility: Applicants must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students. They must have completed at least one semester of college coursework at the time of applying for the scholarship and must have at least one year remaining in their programs of study at the time of award disbursement; fifth-year seniors are ineligible. Applicants must have a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in the residential construction industry. Preference will be given to current student members of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and to applicants who are enrolled in a four-year degree program that focuses on construction management. Selection is based on academic merit, recommendations, extracurricular activities, work experience and financial need.
