Institution: Morris K. Udall Foundation
Purpose: To aid students committed to careers related to the environment, tribal public policy or Native American health care.
Eligibility: Students must be juniors or sophomores studying full-time for an associate's or bachelor's degree at an accredited two- or four-year institution. They must be U.S. citizens, nationals or permanent residents and be committed to a career related to the environment, tribal public policy or Native American health care. Students must be nominated by a college or university faculty representative and must have a grade point average equivalent to a "B" or higher. Selection is based on demonstrated commitment to the environment, tribal public policy or Native American healthcare. Selection is also based on potential of applicant to make significant contributions, leadership, character, desire to make a difference and demonstration of diverse interests and activities.
