Institution: Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation

Purpose: To aid Michigan women pursuing education for careers in computing.

Eligibility: Applicants must be female Michigan residents who are studying to prepare for or further their careers in technology and computing at an accredited institution of higher learning. They must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Degree-seeking candidates must have at least two semesters of coursework remaining before completion of their educational programs. Applicants seeking a computer certification must apply the scholarship to tuition or course fees only. Selection is based on the strength of essay responses and on the level of involvement in the computing community.
