Institution: American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) Institute for Oral Health
Purpose: To support students pursuing a baccalaureate degree with an interest in research in dental hygiene as well as private and public dental hygiene education.
Eligibility: Applicants must be full-time students at an accredited college or university in the United States pursuing a baccalaureate degree in dental hygiene or a related field and must have completed at least one year of a dental hygiene curriculum. Applicants must also have a strong interest in pursuing research in dental hygiene and promoting private and public dental hygiene education, be active members of the ADHA, have a minimum dental hygiene GPA of 3.5 and have a minimum demonstrated financial need of $1,500. Selection is based upon professional and academic excellence and the overall strength of the application.
