Institution: Texas Mutual Insurance Company
Purpose: To assist the families of work-related accident victims.
Eligibility: Applicants must be spouses or children of persons who died or became disabled as a result of a compensable work-related accident or illness or persons whose injuries qualify them for lifetime income benefits (LIBs) pursuant to the Texas Workers’ Compensation Act. Children must be unmarried and age 25 or younger. Spouses must not have remarried if the worker is deceased and must still be eligible for workers' compensation benefits.
