Eligibility:

You're eligible if you:

  • are an international student from one of these countries:
    • China
    • India
    • Japan
    • Malaysia
    • South Korea
    • Singapore
  • achieved a minimum 99.00 ATAR (or equivalent) for your Year 12 studies
  • completed Year 12 (or overseas equivalent) in 2020 or 2021
  • have completed no more than 1 semester towards the approved program (see approved programs below)
  • have not undertaken any tertiary studies at Bachelor level prior to enrolling at UQ ( special studies not included)
  • are enrolled full-time in:
    • Bachelor of Computer Science
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Master of Engineering
    • an engineering dual
    • Bachelor of Advanced Science

Selection criteria:

We'll consider:

  • evidence of academic and leadership achievement
  • evidence of personal qualities including:
    • leadership potential, community service and/or engagement
    • alignment with the graduate attributes of the Liveris Academy
    • demonstrated commitment to academic excellence
    • demonstrated capacity and willingness to actively participate in, and positively contribute to, co-curricular activities at UQ
    • demonstrated strength of interest in undertaking co-curricular developmental activities through the Liveris Academy
  • any other matter that the selection committee considers to your future success.

The Scholarship was established in 2021 and is maintained by an endowed gift from Saudi Aramco.
