Eligibility:

You're eligible if you:

  • are an undergraduate student who is or intends to be a resident at The Women’s College
  • are a domestic student in the year of award
  • are enrolled, or intend to enrol in any bachelor program in the year of the award
  • are able to demonstrate financial hardship.

We'll consider:

  • financial hardship;
  • community service; and
  • demonstrated leadership.

About this scholarship:

Established in 2021 by The Women’s College in partnership with Alumni Friends, under the Create Change Scholarship Match Initiative, to honour the life of Dorothy Marsden, the oldest alumna of The Women’s College when she passed away in June 2020 at the age of 101 years. Miss Marsden completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours at the University of Queensland, was an active member alumna of the Women’s College and a member of the Alumni Association of the University of Queensland.
