Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries:  Students from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. 
  • Eligible Course or Subjects:  Students can apply for admission in any undergraduate course of choice taught at the Pacific Lutheran University. 
  • Eligibility Criteria:  To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must be international students from Nordic countries.  

Offered Benefits

The Pacific Lutheran University will be provided a scholarship award that will cover 65% Cost of Attendance and will also be awarded 32 credits. The award is renewable, subject to academic standing. 

Application Process

  • How to Apply:  Admission applications must be submitted via the  Common Application Portal . Students from eligible countries will be considered automatically. 
  • Supporting Documents:  The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Academic recommendations 
  • Declaration of finances 
  • Personal Essay 
  • Official transcripts 
  • Admission Requirements:  The applications for admission at PLU are assessed on grade point average, class rank, transcript patterns, standardized test scores, personal essay, and an academic recommendation.
  • Language Requirement:  The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • TOEFL IBT – 79
  • TOEFL ITP Plus for China – CEFR Level C1
  • IELTS – 6.5
  • PTE – 56
  • Duolingo English Test – 105
