Award or Grant Description $$  £500 (disbursed in 2 instalments, one in december and one in june)

To remove the financial barriers on your way to study abroad, the University of York is presenting a mind-blowing opportunity called the Yorkshire Bach Choir Scholarships for the academic year 2024-2025.

The award is dedicated to nurturing and showcasing the talent of aspiring choral singers. Our aim is to provide a supportive environment where scholars can refine their vocal skills, expand their musical horizons, and contribute to the rich tradition of choral music. Through performance opportunities, solo collaborations, and financial support, we seek to empower scholars to excel both academically and artistically, fostering a lifelong appreciation for the transformative power of music.The University of York is renowned for its excellence in teaching, research, and innovation located in the historic city of York in the United Kingdom. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to all nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: All subjects offered by the University of York
  • Admissible Criteria: To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
  • Enthusiastic and promising choral singers willing to contribute to the Yorkshire Bach Choir
  • Commitment to attend all rehearsals and concerts, which predominantly occur during University of York semester times on Friday evenings
  • Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students, regardless of their field of study.
