About this course:
The Edx platform invites you to join our free online course on strategic leadership in healthcare. This course is for you if you are looking to develop your leadership style, and seeks to train and guide your team to promote individual growth and improve organizational results. This course is part of the MicroMasters Healthcare Management Program which consists of 7 courses and Capstone testing. This course will focus on strategic and practical thinking practices, leadership theories and leadership style development, and how the appropriate method of thinking and behaving strategically can be used.

Course Instructor:
This course will be taught by Dr. Helen Abdali, Researcher and Counselor in Leadership and Diversity at Doane University. Dr. Helen holds a PhD in Humanities with an emphasis in the field of leadership. She studied international economics and British political economics at Oxford University during the formation of the European Union. Dr. Helen is a certified diversity coach, qualified officer on the Intercultural Development Inventory, teacher of emotional intelligence and executive coach.
