The Vocational Training Corporation in Jordan provides a government institution that provides vocational training programs of all professional levels or programs to raise the efficiency of the work practiced in the labor market, as well as providing training and consulting services in the field of occupational safety and health to all citizens, regardless of their educational level. The following training programs in the field of leather and textile industries:
[1] Clothing design: The applicant is not required to pass high school. He will work solo, or under the supervision of a fashion designer, and will draw the schemes (petrons) different clothes on paper or cardboard, and operate the computer to design the diagrams, print and make adjustments, and the application of occupational safety and health procedures.
[2] Cotton clothing tailor: The applicant must have a certificate of tenth grade. He will work alone or under the supervision of a clothing production line supervisor, using standardized schedules, processing cotton clothing schemes for men, children and women, tailoring, operating and servicing machinery, detailing and sewing cotton clothing and inspecting, and applying occupational health safety procedures.
[3] Tailor Shirt-Pants: The applicant must have a certificate of tenth grade. He will work alone or under the supervision of a tailor of men's clothing and the processing of molds, and the preparation of fabric and tailoring, and processing and operation of the necessary sewing machines and service, and the sewing of shirts and trousers for men.
[4] Women Tailor: The applicant is required to have a tenth grade certificate. Where he will work alone or under the supervision of a general women's tailor and will take personal sizes and processing of women's clothing molds and fabric preparation and tailoring, and processing and operation of the necessary sewing machines and services.
Note that the cost of the program is 30 dinars per class.
