NASA announces training opportunities for undergraduate students and fellowships for graduate students. As part of the internship program for international students known as "NASA I²", through this program students will become part of an extensive network of interns and fellows in the United States and other countries of the world. It will also provide them with opportunities to interact with one another in laboratories or in other less formal settings. These training sessions are arranged during sessions throughout the year (spring, summer, and fall). It is held in the participating countries themselves, but in conjunction with training courses in the United States, to ensure that the best results are achieved and that cooperation is fully achieved.

  • Jordan: Crown Prince Foundation.
  • United Arab Emirates: Emirates Space Agency (UAESA).
  • Australia: Victorian Space Science Education Center (VSSEC).
  • Brazil: Brazilian Space Agency (AEB).
  • Europe: European Space Agency (ESA).
  • Lithuania: Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA).
  • Mexico: Mexican Space Agency (AEM).
  • Portugal: Science and Technology Foundation (FCT).
  • South Africa: The National Space Agency of South Africa (SANSA).
  • South Korea: Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI).
  • Sweden: The Swedish National Space Board (SNSB).

Trinidad and Tobago: National Institute of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Science and Technology (NIHERST).
Eligibility requirements:
Applicants for this program should:

  • They are citizens of one of the countries participating in the program mentioned above.
  • They are undergraduate or graduate students in a science, technical specialization, engineering or mathematics (STEM) discipline or any discipline related to NASA activities.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 in their universities according to the GPA system or its equivalent.
  • They have a high academic standing and have great interest and passion in the space program.
  • Fluent in English.

About NASA:
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration, in English, is an agency of the United States of America. It is responsible for the space program of the United States. It was established in the year 1957. Its annual funding was estimated at 16 billion dollars. In addition to responsibility for the space program, NASA is also responsible for long-range civilian and military space research. NASA is known as the leading space agency for other agencies around the world. Former US President Dwight Eisenhower is one of the founders of the agency, as it was founded in 1958 to be a civilian rather than military agency to advance peaceful scientific research and began work on October 1, 1958.
