Charles Darwin University (CDU) is offering a limited number of tuition fee scholarships for international students who have a record of academic excellence and high achievement, called Vice-Chancellor’s International High Achiever’s Scholarships in Australia. The tuition scholarships apply to the tuition fees for the full duration of an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree. The scholarships are awarded on demonstrated academic merit and are available to students seeking to commence a degree at CDU in Semester 1, 2020.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. A demonstrated record of academic excellence and high achievement in previous relevant studies and qualifications.
  2. Must meet the University’s academic and English entry requirement.
  3. Must have applied and obtained an offer (GTE cleared) to a degree at CDU for Semester 1, 2020.
  4. Must not hold any other scholarship from an Australian or foreign sponsoring agency.
  5. Must have submitted a completed scholarship by 15 November 2019 for commencement in Semester 1, 2020.
  6. Applicants must not hold current Australian Citizenship, Australian Permanent Resident or a New Zealand Citizenship. Student must enroll as a full-time on campus student and commence studies in Semester 1, 2020.
  7. Maintain satisfactory academic progress each semester in the degree at CDU, with minimum GPA of 5.3 and with no fail grade in any subject.
  8. Maintain a full-time enrollment of 40 credit points each semester.
  9. Pay the remaining balance of your tuition on or before the start of each semester; the tuition fee scholarship will be credited directly to your student account up to two weeks after census date each semester.
  10. The scholarship is neither transferable for cash nor refundable and cannot be transferred to another person, semester, course or year.
  11. Not withdraw or take a leave of absence from the units or course of study, without prior approval of CDU Global.
  12. Students must abide by the CDU (Student of the University) by-laws.
  13. Students must be paying international tuition fees and not domestic fees.
  14. Students are required to inform CDU Global via email international@cdu.edu.au of any visa status changes immediately as this may result in a termination of the scholarship. The VCIHAS scholarships are very competitive and meeting the minimum eligibility standards described above does not guarantee that you will be awarded a scholarship. All applicants who meet the minimum eligibility standards will be included in the selection process. The decision of the University selection panel is final.

Scholarship Value:

Vice-Chancellor’s International High Achiever’s Scholarship CDU offers a limited number of 50% and 25% tuition fee scholarships for international students on a student visa who have a record of academic excellence and high achievement.
