Southern Cross University in Australia is offering international students the opportunity to apply for an SCU International Regional Scholarship.
Scholarship Amount:
The SCU International Regional Scholarship provides students with a $5,000 fee reduction on the second session tuition fees (a one-off reduction), after successful completion of their first study session at Southern Cross University.
Eligibility Criteria:
Students wishing to apply for the SCU International Regional Scholarship are required to satisfy the following criteria:
- Apply to study a full-time (8 units per year) undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree at either Lismore or Coffs Harbour campus.
- Applicant must meet the minimum admission requirements of the University.
Undergraduate entry:
- A qualification equivalent to Australian Year 12 and the required entry grade for the program for which they have applied; and
- English language is comparable to Academic IELTS 6.0 overall with no band less than 5.5.
Postgraduate entry:
- A qualification equivalent to an Australian Bachelor degree; and
- English language comparable to Academic IELTS 6.0.
- Students must successfully complete all units in their first session, by obtaining at least a pass in all units, to remain eligible for the scholarship.
- Citizens or permanent residents of Australia or New Zealand are not eligible to apply.
Selection Criteria:
- Successfully applied for admission to any full undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree at either the Lismore or Coffs Harbour campus.
- The student is not a citizen or permanent resident of Australia and New Zealand.
- Meet the minimum admission requirements of the University, including English language proficiency.
- Students must successfully complete all units in their first session but obtaining at least a pass in all units, to remain eligible for the scholarship.
