Al Jazeera Media Institute is offering a great job as a Senior Officer – content who will work with a team to generate and implement innovative ideas to enrich the content on journalism for both online and offline publications. The position holder will be also responsible for producing and editing the content, and issuing knowledge publications such as books, guides, magazines and research papers as well as creating digital platforms to host such contents.

Eligibility:

This role requires excellent writing skills, deep understanding of the modern knowledge delivery mechanisms for digital platforms such as videos, info-graphs, video-graphs amongst other innovative ideas.

Responsibilities:

Creative writing, content editing, and publishing according to pre-defined standards
Publishing, updating and promoting content on digital platforms.
Producing innovative ideas to develop initiatives and content that respond to the needs of the target audience.
Applying the knowledge of the Arab and international experiences in the field of journalism to keep abreast of developments in the profession of journalism.
Planning and managing content-related projects including coordination between stakeholders to accomplish seamless delivery within the specified standards and timeframe.

Required Academic Degree:

Bachelors degree

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in journalism, editorial and media initiatives related to professional development in the field of journalism and development of the journalistic content
