Erasmus Intern invites Accounting Assistants to apply for a paid 7-month internship at MLC Europe GmbH in Malta, in Business Studies and/or Management Science sectors 2019. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Preparing and assisting with monthly management report analysis.
  2. Assisting with Book-keeping, administrative requirements, and procedures. 
  3. Analyzing account information.
  4. Preparing salaries for the employees. 
  5. Documenting financial transactions.  
  6. Recommending financial actions by analyzing accounting options. 
  7. Summarizing current financial status by collecting information; preparing a balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. 
  8. Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents. 
  9. Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.  
  10. Support in the review of month-end financial statements including any unusual gross profit levels and notifying supervisor of any unusual items.

Requirements:

  1. Studying for/in possession of Accounting or Finance related degree.
  2. Previous practical Accounting and/or Auditing experience is considered an asset, but not a necessity.   
  3. Good level of English. 
  4. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.  
  5. Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely fashion.
  6. Ability to work on your own initiative where necessary.
