Southern Cross University in Australia is offering international students the opportunity to apply for a Vice Chancellor’s International Diversification Scholarship. This scholarship celebrates the diversity of nations with international students attending Southern Cross University.
Scholarship Amount:
The Vice Chancellor’s International Diversification Scholarship provides students with a $5,000 fee reduction on the second session tuition fees (one-off reduction), after successful completion of their first study session at Southern Cross University.
Eligibility:
Students wishing to apply for the Vice Chancellor’s International Diversification Scholarship are required to satisfy the following criteria:
- Apply to study a full-time (8 units per year) undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree at either the Gold Coast, Lismore or Coffs Harbour campus.
- Meet the minimum admission entry requirements of the University:
Undergraduate entry:
- A qualification equivalent to Australian Year 12 and the required entry grade for the program for which they have applied; and
- English language comparable to Academic IELTS 6.0 overall with no band less than 5.5.
Postgraduate entry:
- A qualification equivalent to an Australian Bachelor degree; and
- English language comparable to Academic IELTS 6.5.
- Students must successfully complete all units in their first session, by obtaining at least a pass in all units, to remain eligible for the scholarship.
- Citizens or permanent residents from Australia or New Zealand, India or Nepal are not eligible.
Selection Criteria:
- The applicant is an international onshore student wanting to study at the Gold Coast, Lismore or Coffs Harbour.
- The student is not a citizen or permanent resident of Australia, New Zealand, India or Nepal.
- The student must receive an offer to a full undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree at either the Gold Coast, Lismore or Coffs Harbour campus.
- Meet the minimum admission entry requirements of the University including English language proficiency.
- Students must successfully complete all units in their first session, by obtaining at least a pass in all units, to remain eligible for the scholarship.
