Erasmus Intern is offering an internship for Front End Developers in Lisbon, Portugal, with GBSN Research, that is growing its development department and looking for individuals with strong programming skills to join its team.
Eligibility Criteria:
Note: it is not required that you have all of these, since teams have varying needs, focuses, and use varying technologies.

BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2+ years experience building web applications.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and JQuery.
- Understanding of responsive design and its implementation.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Good analytical and debugging skills.
- Experience working with and/or designing RESTful APIs.
- Working knowledge of internationalization, localization, and/or accessibility.
- Fluency in English (other European languages are a plus).
- Looking to commit to a goal-oriented project that aims to create innovative solutions for mass audiences.
- Eager to solve real-life problems, with an appetite for knowledge and the implementation of cutting edge technology in software solutions.
- UX expertise would be an asset for this role.
- Good self-management and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of version control, specifically Git.
- Highly accustomed to the use of Text Editor’s (Visual Studio Code or Brackets or Eclipse) and IDE’s(PHP Storm, Visual Studio, NetBeans).
- Experience with React Native and React JS is highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Intern must care deeply not only about the quality of his/her and the team's code, but also the customer experience.
- GBSN has growing front-end needs, so it is looking for highly motivated individuals to work with multiple stakeholders.
