Edith Cowan University ECU is seeking PhD candidates to undertake research in Nursing & Health and Community Care. ECU has scholarships for projects in the areas of Healthy Ageing: Improving outcomes for Older Adults and End of Life Care. The Centre for Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Services Research hosts the research activity for the School. ECU's research programs have consistently been assessed as being above world standard through the Excellence in Research for Australia framework. ECU collaborates with world-class researchers, industry leaders and clinical experts in the development, conduct, and application of the research in its drive to conduct high-quality research with real-world impact.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  1. Have been made an unconditional offer of a place in an ECU higher degree by research course.
  2. If you have submitted an application for course entry and have not yet been issued an offer, you can apply for this scholarship and your application will be assessed conditional on achieving the minimum requirements.
  3. Registration as a nurse is preferred, but not essential.
  4. Understanding of healthcare systems is essential.
