International students are invited by the Turkish Ministry of Education to apply for the 2020 Turk science and engineering internship program, which allows them to work with the organization in Istanbul, in order to contribute to its work and promote the education system in Turkey.

Duration:

8-12 weeks internship program, between January and May 2020, including 21 days of full-time work in the Ministry of Education's partner industries and management offices.

Eligibility:

  1. International students enrolled in Undergrad or Master's degree courses, from different backgrounds.
  2. CGPA 3+ or 70% marks in all the previous semesters.
  3. Proficiency in the English language.
  4. The age of the candidates must be under 30.
  5. Students in the final year or final semester will be given preference.
  6. Great desire to build a better education system in Turkey.
  7. Team-players and cooperation and communication-lovers.
  8. Willingness to live in Turkey.

Benefits:

  • This is a paid internship program, offers full funding for interns' stay in Turkey including: 
    1. Daily living allowance of $45.
    2. Hotel accommodation with breakfast.
    3. Return flight ticket.
    4. Visa and arrival assistance.
  • Jobs opportunities with Ministry of Education to be offered after the completion of the internship:
  1. At the end of the internship, all of the candidates will be required to submit a detailed internship report that will be evaluated by the Ministry of Education committee members to announce the candidates for its next 1-3 months of the HR development program for permanent placements.
  2. This 1-3 month development program will cover rotation between policy teams and education subject areas, and ends in a permanent position and a competitive salary.

Required Documents:

The selected candidates will be approached in the first half of January 2020 for interviews, and will be asked to submit the following documents:

  1. Valid Student Card.
  2. Valid Passport with over 6 months of the expiry.
  3. Latest transcripts.
  4. Proof of English taught the program.
  5. Foreigner physical examination reports.
