INTO and Glasgow Caledonian University offer scholarships to help ambitious international students to achieve their goals of studying at a world-class university in the UK. With a range of generous scholarships on offer, you could be eligible to receive funding to help towards your tuition fees – regardless of your background or financial circumstance.

Do I qualify for a scholarship?

To find out whether you are eligible to apply, you’ll need to take a look at the requirements for each individual scholarship. If you are not eligible for one particular scholarship, there may be another that you can apply for instead. Please be aware that successful scholarship holders will be expected to:

  1. Successfully meet all remaining conditions for entry to their chosen course.
  2. Maintain excellent attendance and complete all work during their course.

What types of scholarship are available?

  1. Regional Scholarship: If you're starting an International Foundation, International Diploma or International Graduate Diploma pathway at INTO GCU, you could be eligible for a scholarship towards your tuition fees.
    • Course: International Foundation, International Diploma and Graduate Diploma.
    • Start dates: June 2019, October 2019, January 2020 or April 2020.
    • Maximum value: £4,000
    • Eligibility: All scholarships are awarded on merit.
  2. International Foundation Progression Scholarship: Receive an offer to progress to Glasgow Caledonian University after you complete your International Foundation pathway and you could be eligible for a scholarship of up to £5,000 over four years (£2,000 towards first-year tuition fees and £1,000 for each subsequent year of degree).
    • Course: International Foundation
    • Start date: September 2019
    • Maximum value: £5,000
    • Eligibility: Students must successfully complete an International Foundation program at INTO GCU and have an offer for a GCU degree program to apply for this scholarship.
  3. International Diploma Progression Scholarship: Receive an offer to progress to Glasgow Caledonian University after you complete your International Diploma pathway and you could be eligible for a scholarship of up to £5,000 over four years (£2,000 towards first-year tuition fees and £1,000 for each subsequent year of degree).
    • Course: International Diploma
    • Start date: September 2019
    • Maximum value: £5,000
    • Eligibility: Students must successfully complete an International Diploma program at INTO GCU and have an offer for a GCU degree program to apply for this scholarship.
  4. International Graduate Diploma Progression Scholarship: Receive an offer to progress to Glasgow Caledonian University after you complete your International Graduate Diploma pathway and you could be eligible for a scholarship of £2,000 or more (£2,000 towards first-year tuition fees and £1,000 for any subsequent year).
    • Course: Graduate Diploma
    • Start date: September 2019
    • Maximum value: £3,000
    • Eligibility: Students must successfully complete an International Graduate Diploma program at INTO GCU and have an offer for a GCU degree program to apply for this scholarship.

How much money is on offer?

The amount of money available through scholarships can vary. Remember that a scholarship will only cover some of your tuition fees. You will still have to fund your remaining tuition fees and your accommodation, insurance, visa and other living costs in full.
