LONGWOOD university invites you to apply for its tuition and scholarships. The Estimated annual tuition, room, board, fees are $41,148 for international/out-of-state students includes tuition and fees for 12-18 credit hours, room and a 14 meal per week plan plus $325 Lancer Cash.
Eligibility:
For International Applicants with No Prior University Studies:
- Proof of successful completion of secondary education like final exam scores, diploma with certified English translations.
- Longwood recognizes the value of the International Baccalaureate diploma and will award transfer credit for IB exams.
- Official TOEFL or IELTS scores from non-native English speakers.
- TOEFL/IELTS requirement is waived for applicants who have earned an International Baccalaureate diploma.
- TOEFL/IELTS scores may not be required from students completing 2 or more years of study at a high school in the US.
For International Applicants Transferring from a University Outside of the United States:
- Proof of secondary school graduation.
- Official transcripts with all available grades from your university.
- Official TOEFL or IELTS scores from non-native English speakers.
For International Applicants Transferring from a University in the United States:
- Proof of secondary school graduation.
- Official transcripts with all available grades from your university.
- Official test scores, if applicable for non-native English speakers who have completed less than 1 year of study at a US university like TOEFL or IELTS scores (TOEFL/IELTS scores are not required from students who have studied at a university in the US for 2 or more years).
Test Score Minimum Requirements:
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)- 550 (paper) or 79-80 (Internet)
International English Language Testing System (IELTS)- 6.5
Note: SAT scores will be reviewed if submitted and may qualify applicants for larger scholarship awards.
Funding:
For Merit-Based Scholarships:
- $2,000-$8,000 per year for 4 years ($8,000-$32,000 total).
- No separate application as students is automatically considered when submitting the undergraduate international application.
- The priority deadline is 1 December.
For Honors Scholarships:
- $1,000-$6,000 per year for 4 years for qualified undergraduate students ($4,000-$24,000 total).
- Eligible students are invited to apply once they have submitted their complete undergraduate application.
- Priority Deadline for full scholarship consideration is 1 December.
