The School of Communication and Arts of the University of Queensland, Australia, is offering an undergraduate scholarship in journalism, which is open to local and international students. This scholarship was established in 2018 by the School of Communication and Arts through the support of Mr. Bruce Woolley in order to support an undergraduate student seeking to undertake an academic career in Journalism with a demonstrated interest in issues facing Indigenous communities, particularly those issues related to social justice, human rights, reconciliation, and disadvantage.
This Scholarship is offered for Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and valued $5000 per year and up to 3 years.
An applicant is eligible for the Scholarship if the applicant:

Note: The selection committee will give preference to applicants who are Indigenous Australian, or who are from regional or remote areas.
If a recipient is awarded a scholarship, the recipient may hold the scholarship for up to three years, subject to the recipient:
Note: If a recipient fails to satisfy the previous rules, the recipient must show cause to the Executive Dean why the scholarship should not be canceled.
