The United Nations is offering an online volunteer opportunity in designing communication templates for the Business Call to Action (BCtA) at the UNDP Private Sector Center. The Business Call to Action (BCtA) at the UNDP Private Sector Center seeks the support of online volunteers to design standard communication materials for different purposes.

Tasks:

Together with the Communication Lead at BCtA, the online volunteers will produce graphic designs for BCtA brochures and reports.
Initially, 2-4 designs will be requested per month and finalized between the online volunteer and the Comms lead.
The Volunteer will check in with the BCtA Communication lead on a weekly basis over Skype, who will provide updates on the material needed.

Objectives:

The Business Call to Action is an advocacy platform that aims to build evidence of inclusive business accelerating progress towards the SDG's.
The volunteer will contribute to the communications workstream with communication materials creation, contributing to BCtA’s Communications Strategy Objectives 1, 2 and 4: Communications Objective 1: Raise awareness of BCtA as a leading multi-stakeholder advocacy platform for inclusive business practices globally, and as convenor of key actors: private sector, government, innovators and donors.
Communications Objective 2: Position BCtA as a thought leader on inclusive business, and as a trusted provider of technical guidance to companies wanting to introduce inclusive business models.
Communications Objective 4: Serve as a visibility platform for member companies who are successfully using inclusive business models The focus of content will be on inclusive business news and Business Call to Actions initiatives and will have the objective of raising awareness around IB, BCtA Secretariat and BCtA member company activities.

Requirements:

All applicants are required to submit a portfolio for review, candidates who do not submit a portfolio will not be considered.
English fluency.
Applicants need to be in possession of the required design software.
Previous experience in graphic design and publication production is required.
Creativity, innovation and a clear logic is a must to support a large graphic design project.
