It is a nonprofit organization and is one of the world’s largest organizations based on children, it works in 58,000 communities with the help of volunteers to improve how 56 million children live. The charity also has 21 national organizations who have been given the responsibility to oversee the raising of funds and awareness in their individual countries.
As part of the Global Logistics & Procurement Team, this role will provide professional support to the Procurement Category Manager and Head of Logistics and Procurement, as well as support other members of the Logistics & Procurement Team.
This role will have authority to procure on behalf of Plan International and commit expenditure externally with third parties.
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for analyzing quotations and making recommendations in a competitive bidding process, as well as running the majority of a tender process from identifying business needs with key stakeholders through to award of the contract.
Expected salary may range from £30,000 – £36,000 per annum.
